At just 5.41 metres long, the Westfalia Columbus 540D is surprisingly easy to use. It drives smoothly through narrow streets, is simple to manoeuvre on smaller pitches and fits into places where a larger motorhome quickly becomes restrictive.

JUST 5.41 METRES, YET WITH A FIXED DOUBLE BED

Westfalia makes intelligent use of every centimetre. At the rear, you have a fixed double bed measuring 197 × 130 cm. It is almost two metres long, always ready for use and still neatly integrated into a remarkably compact campervan.

The warm Roseland interior, panoramic Skyview roof and dimmable LED lighting create a bright and refined atmosphere. The rotating table extension, flyscreen door, REMISFRONT cab blinds, cab carpet and yacht-design wooden shower floor make everyday use even more enjoyable.

HIGH-END HEATING FOR ALL FOUR SEASONS

Westfalia is one of the few brands to install a full diesel-powered liquid heating system in a compact campervan.

This is not a basic blown-air heater. Heated fluid circulates through pipes and convectors, distributing quiet, even and comfortable warmth throughout the interior.

The underfloor heating is not a simple 12V electric mat either. Heated fluid flows through channels integrated into the floor, including beneath the heated shower tray.

The Winter Pack also includes a heated waste-water tank, additional door insulation, insulating mats and an extra convector in the cab. Thanks to Plugtronic, the heating system can also run on 230V at a campsite. Heated front seats and a heated windscreen complete the excellent winter comfort.

MODERN TECHNOLOGY ON THE ROAD

The Fiat Plus Pack brings the comfort of a modern passenger car to this campervan. It includes Adaptive Cruise Control, automatic climate control, a fully digital dashboard, wireless phone charging and a 10-inch touchscreen with navigation and DAB radio.

The powerful Full LED headlights provide a bright, wide beam. Road markings, bends and possible obstacles become visible sooner, giving you greater confidence and reducing fatigue during night-time journeys or on unlit roads.

A rear-view camera, rain and dusk sensors, electrically folding and heated mirrors, and an electric parking brake also make driving and manoeuvring easier.

FULLY EQUIPPED FOR DEPARTURE

The hot-and-cold outdoor shower is ideal after a day at the beach, a bike ride or a walk. The 20A AC/DC booster charger ensures efficient charging of the leisure battery, while electrical preparation for a towbar is already included.

The Iron Grey bodywork, painted front bumper, black skid plate and 16-inch alloy wheels give the Columbus a strong yet refined appearance.
