A snow-covered road to your ski destination, a wet grass field, a steep descent or that gravel track leading to a beautiful overnight spot: this is exactly where Mercedes 4x4 gives you extra confidence. The Off Road Pack adds Downhill Speed Regulation, engine and underbody protection, all-terrain tyres and a retractable entrance step. The 360° camera helps when space gets tight, while LED headlights and Thermotronic add visibility and comfort.

Inside, the HMX changes character. Black Wave leather, Walnut cabinet fronts, acoustic wall panels and indirect LED lighting create a warm, premium atmosphere. The heated pop-up roof and patented Slidebath allow the interior to adapt to the way you travel. With two, sleep upstairs or downstairs. Choose the pop-up roof and you can free up a large area at the rear for luggage, bikes or sports equipment.

With three, two can sleep upstairs and one downstairs while the full four-person dinette remains available day and night.

With four, slide the bathroom forwards with one hand in the evening. At the rear, you create two proper longitudinal beds, which can also be joined into one large bed. The bathroom remains fully usable. In the morning, slide it back and the spacious dinette becomes completely available again.

Both Winter Packs, the heated windscreen and heated waste-water tank make this HMX particularly appealing for winter sports and travelling outside the summer season. The hybrid Timberline diesel liquid heating system heats the living area and water quietly and evenly: independently on diesel, with electrical assistance when connected to 230V. Electric waste-water drainage also makes winter stops easier.

The 4.1-tonne maximum authorised mass provides extra payload capacity, while the towbar can pull up to 2.8 tonnes. The Mercedes Comfort Pack adds driving comfort and the 100Ah Premium lithium battery provides a strong basis for greater autonomy.
